The correct answer is yes actually, however you can "get away" without tuning it. Whenever more air then stock is crossing the maf, you should re-dial in the car. This is how fuel trims get off so much to the point that the car has issues. You won't have a problem with just an injen cai, however you might have issues later on down the road when you start putting more and more on without tuning. Tuning is a great idea to start early and continue doing later on down the line. You might get a CEL for a lean/rich condition because your fuel trims are off a decent amount. Not everyone has this issue and it just depends on the car and conditions it's in. If you do get it, you can clear it by using a scanner, by removing the battery cables for 10 mins and reconnecting them, or by solving the issue and getting a tune

I mean for real yeah with anything, even freaking a maf sensor like say a larger diameter one or exaust anything, because our cars were made only to run with the mfg tune, which means when you add parts, you kinda make everything have to work harder then its supposed to liek with the Intake. If you put it on you are pushing a little more air into the intake/ engine causing the car to go lean so your sfts will be higher to compensate for the leaner air. I hope you understand lol. Zach is correct also by the way.

thanks
