Stock it is then. Think it would be worth it to go from a 2.7 to a 2.6?

no on pump you need to raise it up to atleast a 2.9 keep the blower more efficient and play with the timing more

I've ran a 2.9 I make more power and torque with the 2.7 22* of timing Is what I'm getting. Used to be 16* before the meth

I know you will make more power on a 2.7 but if you can exploit the blowers efficiency with the tuning you should be able to make really close to that with less stress on the engine or better yet put a good set of cams in and do the same

What about compression if we throw some hotter cams in the equation?
Longer duration tends to lower dynamic compression (valve closes later in the compression stroke), so to counter this I was thinking about raising static compression a tad. (slightly thinner headgasket)
Like to make my power with the least boost possible... ;-)

(Did Area not said something similar about compression in his cam comparison thread?)

that is not completely true lsa will make more of a difference
