fairly sure the zzp 898hp car used 8 injectors and was run by a stand alone, easy enough to check the thread to verify that.

For the 400 hp blower car they did IRRC they disconnected the speed sensor and that got rid of the 8192 rev limit, BUT tuning up there is done by the computer interpolating the last cell with god knows what so it ******* lala land. If you want to do it parallel wire in a standalone (aka give the stock computer just enough info to run the gauges and let you pass emissions).

Those cams are going to hold you back.

This is what I thought too.

And I thought I read they did something with the VSS to get it over 8192 RPM (or whatever it maxes at)

I havent seen the specs on them but from what I've seen in the cam sticky they're not all that aggressive nor impressive. And when they were designed there was certainly no way that they even considered the fact that you could be trying to cram as much air though the valves as you are, nor how ported you head is/will be. They'll be better than stock, but I bet if you havent bought them yet you can get someone to get you a custom re-grind. I'm thinking something in the nature of the most life your valve springs can handle, with a ramp angle as aggressive as possible to not damage the lifter faces or valve seats, though I dont know enough about cam design to comment on duration or overlap.

We shall see. I just looked back at the test and also noticed that he was running a pretty conservative tune, more conservative than the rest with the GMR cams as well. Still, I would expect less drop off with super aggressive cams.
