Does anyone know about how much boost should be expected from a tvs s/c with a 2.7" pulley? My tuner was asking me but for some reason I haven't been able to find it anywhere. not even from the stock 3.15 pulley. Anyone that may have an idea, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Depends on your exhaust setup and if you've done ported head/cams/etc...

On a stock motor, the 2.7" pulley should be right about 24-25 psi

 

up to 27 if it's spun high enough.

 

im runnin 22 - 23 right now with my tvs

 

im on 22 psi with the 2.9... just an idea

 

a 2.8 pulley when i had the tvs on my car and i was pushing 24 to 25 psi

 

kinda off topic but i wanna get gm's stage 2 kit on the stock blower how much boost would i be pushin more than 15?

 

gm stage 2 blows... get a different stage kit from either ZZP or OTTP

buy zzp's stage 2 and keep your stock stuff. if something happens to the car just put everything back to normal and take it to the dealer.

yeah the guy my family and i buy cars off has a one year warranty on everything excluding the SC on all used cars its pretty legit lol

On my setup (ported head, 3" exhaust) the 2.9 on the TVS made 17psi. On the 2.7 its just barely seems to peak 20psi when I spin it to 7400
