well im putting on a 75mm pulley i just put the spec 3 plus clutch and flywheel in .i hope that helps . I think the pulley will be worth 9 whp and the spec lightweight flywheel i hope it will free up 2 whp. so we will see.and i think ill gain around 10 wtq as well hopefully

well Rebel's goals are much different than many of ours, such as stealing several thousand dollars from members of this web site

The setup did get fixed and I received all the parts for it, but I never got to run it and do final testing due to my motor blowing up, so I had to sell it to someone else. Full scale production probably never would have occured though due to the TVS's release since it was a direct bolt on affair compared to having to use adapter plates and whatnot.

I have actually calculated the difference and my local Mustang dyno rates 13% lower than the local Dynojet I have also run on. It certainly would have laid over 300whp on the Dynojet, and I hadn't even sprayed meth/tuned for it at that point either.

Finally, good luck with hitting the 300+whp mark. I will be awaiting the results.

see i made 290whp and 250 wtq on a mustang dyno and they said they were 11% off the local dynojet here that puts me at 322 whp and 277.5 wtq.

To me, you shouldnt have to add in a percentage to get to where you want.

Id rather have the paper that says 300, than "well it says 290-something, but just add 11% and its over 300!"...

well if i was on a dyno jet thats what it would of put down. I dont see you dyno jet guys taking away 11%. If you all did no one would have 300 or better whp. I look at a lot of dyno # s on here and 90% of them are dynojets. Lets see someone put down 290 whp on a mustang dyno and that was only about a hour s worth of tuning.

Im not bashing your numbers.... So keep that in mind.

Im just saying that i wouldnt tell someone that i had to add in 11% to make it over 300...

i understand were you comeing from im not bashing either .Im just saying if some one made let say 305 whp on a dynojet that would only be 271 whp on a mustang dyno i dont see the dynojet guys taking away 11%. All im saying is if i was on a dynojet i would put down 322whp.

Watch out the lightweight flywheels can cause misfires.

Then you will not make much over 300whp all the time.

These are just numbers. 11%, 15%, it does not mean anything as compared to what other people put down on other dynos.

You guys should just be happy with what you have. I don't know about you guys but my TVS LSJ has a ton of power. I put down 287whp on a dynojet and I am not going to cry about it.

I am running the stock TVS pulley 3.15" and made probably +70whp over an M62 with the same size pulley.

^ this.

I made sure to get a baseline dyno on GM S3 so that when I go TVS I will know exactly how much I gained as compared to MYSELF on the same dyno with similar weather conditions.

I wouldn't sweat the numbers Scott. If there is truly more to be had with your current mods then just keep at it and you'll get there.

no bodys playing " the number game " its the facts you put your car on a mustang dyno you will not make the same power you did on the dynojet> Thats just facts.

i made a 158 whp pathfinder put down 340whp on a mustang dyno. accuracy of a mustang dyno lies in the hands of the operator. not the vehicle.
