Lightbulb Twincharger vs. Widebodykit

So for my next project i was thinking to either add a turbo to the already potent supercharger or go with a custom widebody kit. Suggestions?

twincharging is more trouble than its worth.... go straight turbo or stick with the m62 until some1 comes out with a blower replacement.. widebody kit is a waste in my mind.. the lines on the SS s/c are already nice

Just use a turbo or go with a bigger supercharger, like the whipple or a larger eaton...say the m112. Widebody kit is jus a waste.

Deff. With the Turbo! Get that baby! ;D But imo. Wide body kit does look pretty darn sexy!

the twincharge kit from HAHN Racecraft will not be released. they couldn't make it reliable. so i guess that helps you make your decision.

why? you would be sad when a turbo balt owns you at the track. a twincharger is for magazines and stuff. not going fast. not with the stock s/c anyway.

I think twincharging is very difficult. It seems turbo or procharging will be best. Check out my thread, this is one possible solution to twicharge, BTW, very complex.

yes i know that twincharging isnt the best for speed. for me its all about bragging rights. besides for speed me and my buddy are going to start a twin turbo 350 75 corvette. were aiming for 9s or low 10s

it's not really # 4 or the intake mani that blows... it's the m62 and the tunes. considering there are turbo ss/sc pushing about 325 whp and turbo 2.4s running over 350whp and they're on stock internals. the fact that the m62 produces so much heat is what is causing much of the problems. twincharging is bad for our cars because really it's just adding more heat so you might produce like 300HP and pop something considering you'll be adding the turbo lag/surge into the high heat / compression situation.

widebody's can be cool hell look at donna's hers is awesome however thats totally custom i think the actual "kits" i've seen look grotesque.. i vote save your money or go full turbo conversion or procharger when that comes out... basically i vote get rid of the heaton it's holding the car back because of the massive amount of heat it produces.

heat+high compression+bad tune+combustion = boom

if your seriously making a thread about whether you should put a body kit on your car or turbo it , then you have a little rice in you

the thread title should be turbo vs twinscrew , not twincharged vs rice kit , on second thought its so damn hard to tune for a twincharger i dont know why you would want one

with the money u would spend on the widebody kit work + paint you could do 2 twincharged setups...its no joke how much labor and paint costs to pull it off.
trust me as i talk from experience. unless you plan on hardcore competing at car shows and such, stick with performance.

Thank you Donna....

People just don't understand how difficult it is to setup a widebody kit, especially if the car is used as a daily driver.
