yah i'm curious, i'd like to see what that entails. as far as i have researched the only center diff that would work for our cars is the evo 8. then you gott have custom input output shafts made as well the rearend conversion, and drive shaft. on top of that you would need to relocate the gas tank and exhaust.

Not much to report. The crankshaft is supposed to be ready on Friday.
The rollcage for the inside of the car is done but can't be welded into place, as the shops tig welder died.
We are going with a 200amp, big body alternator.
We are doing a coating on the head, valve cover and block that will turn out like a polished aluminum finish.
The color scheme under the hood will be black/red/polished.
Bully Clutch will be a sponsor for the car.

Mainly because it is unique and would be a starting point for others, who may choose to follow afterwards.

It is a version of Bully's stage5 clutch, designed to fit the Viper mainshaft of the T-56. This is a full racing clutch with a semi streetable pedal. However at a traffic light, I will likely be hanging back if I am behind traffic.

If not then mid next week should bring some pictures of the cage.

Tell me about it
My luck, the snow will come and go before my car is ready. Now, there is something positive in snow free roads except for the waiting.

I will be practicing take offs in large parking lots before I take to traffic.
As for gas, I am hoping to run pump gas. I have learnt that race gas will quickly kill a wideband sensor, like 15-20 runs quick. That gets expensive real quick.

If they manage to meet their deadline, we should be holding the crank 11-12 days from now.
As soon as we have the crank, into the engine it goes.

woooo,wooo,wooo.....

Rod you might wanna check that race gas thought man.

leaded 110(i run allot of torco with turbo) wont kill the wideband in 20 runs.

i've ran the same sensor for well over a year now and i've seen ~20 pass's on it plus 3 straight weeks of driving( week before, week of, and week after the Woodward dream cruse) with torco in her plus other random times when i'll pop 5gal into her.

i check my sensor voltage at the start and end of each season to see if i need a new one, as of yet my sensor is only .02V-.04V off what it was at the start of April. and thats been about 20k-25k miles on the car in general.

however resistance across the heater core has gone up so the lead is effecting that, but not so much across the sensor its self.
just some food for thought bro.

Thanks for the info Bryan. I will do a bit more research as well into the race gas/wideband.
Quick question, won't leaded gas kill my cat and the ability to pass emmissions???

no worries man, just wanted to give you the info i've collected on my own.

if your worried about emissions then you need to stop this project now!

dident you know? leaded race gas actually helps the car pass state emission tests!
