Water in headlight
Does anyone know a quick fix for water on the inside of a headlight? I know a rock didn't hit anything and I heard you can fix this problem without taking it to the dealer. Any help?

If there is standing water in your headlights then you should take it in, if their is fog on the inside of the lenses you should drive around with the headlights on and that will help burn off the fog.

The housing should dry out by itself with the lights on, or if you bring it inside/use a dryer through the hole, however if there is liquid sloshing around you need a new housing.
BTW, its illegal to put HID lights in a USA vehicle not originally equipped with them. They also may cause Body Control Module issues in your car.Ive seen several instances of this.

I am aware of the HIDs being illegal, but I made sure to aim them correctly so I don't blind oncoming traffic. The main reason I installed them is because I have 20/200 vision which is legally blind without glasses and I can't see anything at night with standard halogens. Anyways, can you elaborate om the BCM module issues?

why do all these guys keep insisting and saying. It is illegal blah blah blah. Its getting annoying. That was like offtopic, you were asking about the water, not for an opinion on wether they are legal or not. Wow it pisses me off. Get a set and youll change your mind bud.

I have converted to HIDs in all my vehicles except the Cobalt(no money right now) I am fully aware of the advantages, I was simply letting Stealth be aware of two concerns I have encountered. One being they are illegal now(they didnt used to be) and secondly that some systems on some cars cause issues he should be aware of as they wont be covered by his warranty.
