Unhappy Weird electrical issues

#1. Alright, not sure how to explain this but I'll start from the beginning. I am in the process of making my own LED "Neon" kit that would cost about 60-70$ to make. I'll post a tutorial for the others on the forum when I am done but first, I am having some weird electrical issues.

So I run my leds directly from the battery that runs through a switch...easy enough right? It used to run very bright with the car off and without a switch, only with wires touching the battery.

Now that everything is tight and ready for the road, the switch doesn't work anymore while the car is parked, when I drive and flick the switch, does nothing. But if the switch is ON, while driving, I can turn my key to ACC and the car doesn't stop (loss of all the gauges and power control). During this weird state, my leds are working again and I have to turn the switch OFF to shut the car down. I also get a P2610 engine code.

#2. Since I installed my wideband and interceptor, I get weird static from my speakers...is this normal?

Anyways... I try my best to try new things for the forums, just wondering if anyone can help!

what kinda switch 3 prong im guessing, where did you ground the switch too? most switchs have 3 legs, power acc and ground, power is 12v from battery, acc is the + legs of the LEDS, and ground is well ground...

The error code makes perfect sense then. Yes i have that kinda switch, 12 volt. I am grounded to a metal bolt inside the dash. Ill try another one to see if its different but i am also using this ground for a few other things. Is there somewhere in the fuse box (under the hood or passenger side that I would have access to 12v? Thanks!!!

on the redline dont know if the ss is different but, on the engine fuse box there is a 12v post thats where i get my 12v signal from for my gauges and what not, grounds can be tricky in these cars I have yet to find a decent one that doesnt cause interference thru the speakers. I may try finding a ground then running a 12gauge wire back to the battery for extra ground support.
