after my car heats up and I let it sit there and idle it starts to idle kinda weird. Almost like it has a performance cam in it or like it's misfiring everynow and then. Now it could be that I need an oil change im gettin one on wednesday... im about 1000 miles over. But I was wondering if anyone else's car is like this. If maybe it's just the way stage 2 is...?

I have stage 2 the honed manifold and gmpp exhaust. that's it.

also... there was that crinkle on the intake so I thought I would try an pop it out... Well I open it up next to the throttle body and find that the intake has water in it... er... well moisture and dirt looking stuff. is that normal too? I havent driven through any big puddles that I know of...IDK WTF is going on, I have no cels so it cant be too bad...

bumpage... any input?

 

with that kinda junk in your intake first thing i would think is your maf is likely dirty.

which would be a good explanation for a rough idle too.

go grab yourself some crc maf cleaner and try that first.
id check your plugs too.

 

my car does the same but my RPM's just jump up and down

 

possible vacuum leak. check your lines

 

is it possible to be something wit the tune we did.

 

mine sounds like that now and it did it when it was completely stock. If I find the vid of mine i'll post it.

 

Mine does the same, It has a ppuft every 5-6 seconds or so . Ive had everything looked at and they say it's fine . I even pulled the injectors and had them cleaned , didn't change anything.



That is prolly some blow by from the crankcase breather that connects to the intake. Alot of people have that .

 

well... if the maf is screwed up it's ok... im puttin a new intake on maybe next week and im taking it in for an oil change on wednesday and I'll have them take a look at it too.
