What header?

i got zzp 3inch catless dp on my car right now and was wondering what header i should get and will it add much power at all? also im still on stock catback and have magnaflow muffler welded on it. Think a 2.5 inch catback will help that much?

Should open it up a little and seeing how I think you just got that downpipe if you don't want to cut it up so the pacesetter will not be for you. Just go with a shorty header with large primaries not as good as long tubes of course

Yes.

The entrance of the stock resonator is only 2 1/16", and the over axle portion of the exhaust is only 2 1/4". You will gain some flow while maintaing excellent exhaust gas velocity from a full 2 1/2" catback exhaust.

^ What would yield better gains.. 2.5" or 3"? I read that most people should just run 3".

There are tons of people on this site who run 3" exhaust systems when they shouldnt be. There is more to an exhaust system than just flow. You also want to maintain a good velocity. If you arent making the power for a 3" exhaust, your exhaust gas velocity will slow down causing eddies (turbulance), and actually decreasing overall power gains. To be honest I wouldnt run a 3" exhaust unless you are making around 300 whp.

Remember bigger isnt always better.

Are you looking for something that will work with that DP? If so, your options are pretty limited.

Yeah pretty much all he can run is the gmpp manifold, or some sort of shorty header (CA V2 or DC Sports).

Same here. Fit like a glove, very good quality, no issues thus far.

So you think 2.5" is sufficient? I was told 3" by many people.

Unless your pushing over 18 pounds of boost stick with the 2.5. If you go TVS go with the 3inch due to the amount of air that thing pushes thru the intake.

Yes 2.5" is perfect. The only time I would ever get a 3" is if I was TVS, Turbo, or an E85 M62 setup making over 300 whp.
