I was just wondering if any of you knew what kinda iat's you were getting with 2.6"-2.9" pulleys. ACT would be more useful, but i don't know if any of you actually have a sensor for that....? I'm trying to figure out something for my daily driver...looking in to putting an mp90 on my v6 mustang, but an intercooler can't fit on and some people are running up to 10psi non-intercooled, but the temps make me weary, so im just checking around the net to get an idea of what higher spinning roots blowers are making intercooled. thanks.

im trying to figure out if i want to spend the extra cash and go centrifugal again or even more money and go turbo. I'm not gonna be happy at 6 psi for more than a week. eh im gonna look into water injection running 9ish psi maybe.

well im not so much worried about heat all around in any forced induction setup. I am very familiar with centrifugal blowers and turbo's as i have done/helped with quite a few builds with both, but heat has always been one of the first issues i address so i have never really "taken it to the limits" temp wise. I would really like to go with a roots or twin-screw for my v6 just because i think it'd be fun to have along with my centri car, but there is absolutely no room for an intercooler underneath an mp90, and there is no twin screw setup yet. Quite a few people are running the kit im looking at at 9-10psi non-intercooled and making around 300rwhp, but i am soooo sketched out by the ACT's. I'm just trying to figure out what kinda temps the gtp guys and ss/sc guys, etc. are seeing on higher boost intercooled setups. I will probably end up saving up for a turbo i guess, but i am trying to judge exactly how safe it would be with iat's in the 150's and no intercooler...not very safe imo, but strangely, nobody with that kit has blown a motor yet on the 2.8" pulley (10 psi) and there are like 30 of them...thanks for your info.
