what lbs valve spring is correct?

just got the balance shafts from gm. need to go up to 8000rpm with stock cams so i need to find correct spring rate & who has them, also price.the problem i am having is when i shift from 1st to 2nd it falls out out of the power band so i figure moving up the limiter would help.does anyone ofer any lower ratio diff?

Call Ferrea and ask them what you need. You'll need Springs and retainers. The reason to get Ferrea is that they are dual coil so that in case the main spring breaks you wont destroy your piston. The secondary spring acts as a back up. Ferrea is also one of the best, if not the best, name in valve train components.
