What pulley is this?
Yeah that's like 100 bucks. I'm trying to spend the least amount possible and spend the least amount of time working in this car as possible. Might just buy a modular stock pulley for 50 bucks and just put that on there.

Rental is only 50. For a modular pulley you need the modular pulley hub and you still need the puller to take the gmst2 hub off and put the mps hub on. Best bet is to just rent the tool for 50.

He can have nate at smoothflow make him a stock size pulley to work with the gm 4-bolt hub.
like 50 bucks. but if he doesnt have the bit to remove the gms2 bolts, he will need to pick that up from crate engine depot if he cant find it used. thats about 20 bucks and then he will probably want to get regular allen head bolts from smoothflow as well.

$50 dollars....
I have the bit if he needs it. I'd give it away a lot cheaper than $10-$20 as well.
The allen head bolts from smoothflow are $4, or you can pick the same allen head bolts at your local hardware store for even cheaper.

OP - listen to this guy right here. Simply because you're going to change back to a stock pulley and it probably won't fix you're issue.
As far as I can tell it's a stock tune but I need to redrive it and see what is going on because the only time I have driven it was when I drove it home and was to focused on it not over heating to worry about fuel cut or the rev limiter or whatever.. I tried to check the injectors last night and one of the bolts snapped in half so I said **** it. The guy I bought the car from said he put that pulley on and it had stock injectors but he was full of **** about some stuff so who knows if he was lying.

They are right in front of you. You can see the tops of them easily.

Those are 42lb injectors.
Which more than likely means you have a GMS2 tune on your car since it has the 77.9mm pulley.
Do not just go swap out that pulley until you check the tune. You can prob call the dealership, give them your vin and they should be able to look up if your car was reflashed with the GMS2 tune.
Your rev limit/fuel cut issue you are having might be spark blow out. Pull your plugs and check them. For GMS2 a 0.035" gap is ideal.

Car is probably tuned. Would run like total ass if run at all on stock tune and those injectors.
I'm with Staged on this one. Just your plugs. Pull them, take pics and report back. Gotta make sure correct ones are in it and they look good.

So I just drove the car and got it to a little over 6 grand. I didn't want to beat on the car to hard and didn't have enough clear road to really get on it. Seems like it is probably all stage 2 then.
