HAHAHA IT IS LIKE A BUNCH OF ******* NASA SCIENTISTS IN THIS FORUM !! WHY AM I YELLING ??? I just purchased the 1 step colder for my 3.15 pulley. I bought them from South Florida Pulley Headquarters. Right now my car is in service for a loud as ticking noise. Hope I havent been knocking for the last two weeks. Even though I shouldnt with only such a modest decrease in pulley size.

My theory is that the belt squeaks because of the temperature changes and the fact that it is an aluminum pulley. So I think when you start the car the pulley is just a little bit contracted and when it warms it expands just so much taking up that tad bit of space to stop the squeak. I noticed on the 50 degree day we had recently that mine did not squeak. So that is my hypothesis.

Would it be worth getting new plugs on a stock SS S/C or an SS S/C with just a CAI?

Thanks,
Rich

So if you are borderline in the summer or winter could you have to change plugs. In my ta I would go back up 1 range in the winter because it ran too rich.

No, They will be pre gapped normally.

Opening them will defeat the point of the colder plug MAGN'

Are normal platinum spark plugs at the stock heat range OK? (not any steps colder) for a pretty much stock car at stock boost levels?
