whats this part do...?
Ok, this may have been covered...but I'm posting this anyway...
I took some pics of my engine compartment and I noticed on the back of the supercharger there is an allen screw. What does this control...??

This is an orientation pic to put you in the right area

I know with my old R/T that you could control the throttle kickdown by adjusting the amount of space there was near the throttle body.
I wonder if this is something similar or maybe a thing to control vacuum.....

I know we are either under vacuum or boost....I think I heard that we were under vacuum 95% of the time and boost the rest.
There is a plunger of some sort, and that allen screw controls it somehow....I aint messing with it until I get a 'techie' point of view...

Thanks... seems you've had this on your mind before
Let me get this straight first.
The position of that screw dictates the opening or closing of the actuator, which dictates boost/vacuum pressure.
Has there been a 'benchmark' position made for these screws..? or is it mainly up to personal preference.?
I see that if 12lbs of boost is made it wont make more. I am real close to 12.5lbs now...
all in all, its great info
thanks again
