When do you change your oil?

Did a search on this and didn't find anything...but sorry if someones already answered this but...

How low would you let the Oil Life % get before you change it? Or should I go by the miles I drive on it?

Go by miles or months. If you use regular motor oil then change it about every 3k miles or 3 months. If you use synthetic then you can run it longer I'd say anywhere from 5-7k miles or about 5 months.

When the meter says 20%, or every 6 months, which ever comes first.

Really depends if you drive mostly city or highway. If its mostly stop and go then yeah fully synthetic I would change 4-5k miles if highway I would do like 7-8k

I've let the OLM run down to 0% and sent it to a lab for analysis, and they said it was about the right time to change it.
