How many CFM's is it cranking out at that point though? Also, what are the requirements to turn the TVS, and what is it's max CFM output. Then we need to get into adiabatic efficiency and outlet temps.

not only that but theres a certain point where efficiency has been greatly compromised...just cuz its a bigger supercharger doesnt mean its gonna outperform one thats perfect for our car. we will never beable to handle/do anything with a blower thats almost as many liters as our engine

overkill.

air is cool and all, but trying to cram 15 lbs worth of a **** into a 5 lb bag isn't a way of going about it.

Hmmm.... I'm coming up with just over 1000cfm at 18000 blower RPM, from the Whipple version of the 1.6L

nice isnt it, acura rsx guys that use the lysholm 1.6 are getting 450hp, thats flywheel hp, at 15psi, so if we get near that same amount of engine hp, ur looking at well over 300whp at 15psi. granted the k20 has higher compression which yields to a lil more hp. but thats just an estimate.

you're not factoring in a way better head design, or the factt hat the k series is a crap ton more efficient

bump for some excellent news.

Eddie,

The 1.6 is going into production in approx. 3 months. The housing is cast, but we still have to cut the rotors. But yes, it’s coming, so that’s some good news. Will list it on our site as a supercharger available soon.

Thanks,

Dustin

all that would be needed a bracket for manifold and tb inlet. they can supply the drive snout.

also i e-mailed em back seeing if they had the exterior demensions already, and possible specs. so lets see if they got em. this thing will be a beast. i can see over 300whp at 15psi. its gonna be a beast.

theyre making the unit itself to work for multiple applications, a 3rd party company would need to make adapter plates and tb plate for the unit to work.
