Dont use cement at the v-band it'll likely make it leak. V bands are designed to not leak without anything in them.

Well OTTP made a gasket for the vband because alot of people on here had problems with the Vbands leaking. So I baught the OTTP gasket kit, and the Long Tube Header Combor. The UPS guy came today to deliever both, but I was in the shower when he came as I was getting ready for work, and he left the gasket kit by the door. Copper Header gasket Awesome, itll become sacrafical corrosion and prevent my stainless steel header from causeing galvanic corrosion on my aluminum head. But ZZP shiped the Header so I have to sign for it. So tomarrow morning I drive to the UPS place to get my Header I'm Excited! Theres a dyno shop at a local exhaust shop so I'm going to have them Dyno me, then install the header, then dyno again! Then I can post before and after header numbers

Our header is the same price as zzp's. One thing people over look is the collector, we use a stamped merge collector and they use just a swedged piece of stainless. If I switched over to a similar collector it would drop the cost by $45....You do get what you pay for. For more info on our header read here https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/over...header-252015/
