Rodimus_Prime,

Nice job dude, You are the reasons i have less than 20 post on this forum board. I will give you props and say nice cover on the mess up to make yourself not look like an idiot. This man was asking a bout a wideband install, never once did he state anything about the primary 02 sensor in the manifold. Why you felt the need to add your .02 is because your a tool. This gentleman was under the assumption that he could even use the stock wiring harness for the Bosch sensor....So why in gods green earth would you bring up ANOTHER sensor that is completely irrelevant to this question or what this man is trying to do? **** he probably didn't even know there was one in the manifold for crying out loud. Sometimes you just need to know when you to shut your mouth...but that will come with age and maturity...hopefully.

The sensor he was talking about every one on here understood but you. The second 02 sensor, which is the general location of the wideband(if there's no cat). The stock bung WILL work, The Bosch sensor will screw in to it with no problems. The threads are the same. The AEM box DOES come with a 02 bung IF you want to leave that second sensor in and add another bung for the Bosch.

BlownredSS, The install is very simple please don't let a few dumb asses on here make this WAY more difficult then it is. If you have any questions you can ask Timmy or Myself. I would be more than happy to help you get this done with the least amount of bullshit.
Correct.

Yea, so about the wideband, how does the install go? If a new bung needs to be welded in I just may pick up a new dp/Header combo, if I have to remove it.

You could take the whole car to a shop and have the bung put in. It's also far easier to just remove the DP than to do the whole combo. Do make sure the bung is within about 6-10" of the exhaust manifold flange, before the cat.

For all the people arguing about the post-cat O2, that is at least 3 feet away from the engine. Too far to be useful even if you have the cat removed.

The instructions will say the proper distance that they recommend. I'd take the DP to a shop and have them put it in there. Don't forget to take into account the length of the header. Anyone know how long that thing is? I have like 3 of them lying around, but they're all at my mom's house.

But just taking the dp to the shop with the bung is the cheapest way to go.
