My AIT2's are being really weird at idle they are ~120. When I amn cruizing down the freeway they are at 87. At WOT they are usually 95-101. Why are they so high at idle. Even if I'm not driving hard. I just replaced the IC pump about 2 weeks ago.

meh they'll go up if you're just sitting there after doing pulls or driving. it's not getting any airflow.

at idle you have no air passing over the heat exchanger

Also at idle, the bypass valve will be open which means most of the air is bypassing the sc and therefore the intercooler inside the intake mani. It's just going straight into the motor and being heated up by the intake mani, nothing to worry about

Thanks guys...I was worried. I would have never guessed a 30-40 degree difference. As long as it stays 110's-120's it's okay?

You're fine bro! Normal operating temperatures right there!

a dual pass w/opt b will help a little bit to lower them

Sold the Dual Pass and Opt B. Either going to sell her and go back the Mustang world or going to build LSJ-T...

Sorry was thinking the elbow on the endplate lead to the back side of the intake mani instead of the front. Just remembered wrong
