wiring in dash dvd player

Hey guys I need help I have a pioneer in dash DVD player and I need to know where the two wires go for the park brake wire and reverse wire go thanks

How can I hook it up so the park break dose not have to be on

Usually you just hook it up to the ground wire and then you can play it withOut brake on

It only wants to play when the cars off I have it grounded on the sunroof fuse

The fuse will be a positive not a ground.. Try to take the brake wire and touch it to the black wire on your radio..

there is a way to wire up a basic relay to make it so you can watch movies while the brake is off...hold on lemme find it

something like this...



they say that you should use a relay because I guess the head unit needs to see a change of voltage/ground and if it doesn't it won't work. So by installing this relay it will get a that quick switch soon as you turn on the car...

I just grounded my Kenwood, and dvd worked like a charm... Good luck..

just run the wire to a switch, then run another wire from the switch to a ground, this is what i did with my pioneer. Then when you wanna watch dvd's you just flip the switch and bam.
