My car fried its O2 sensor and had a simular problem to this. Taking it to the dealer is going to be your best bet.

wait so why can't he do the bypass mod again just to rule out the actuator? his car ain't gonna blow a head gasket that easy. 2.5 pounds of boost is bypass actuator ,the super charger gasket is blown or the guage is f-ed up. id check those 3 things first. If the car has ANY acceleration at all the car is making more than 2.5 pounds of boost and the guage just isn't there for you.. has anyone even tried setting there car to 2.5 pounds of boost with hptunners. Mine didn't even want to run let alone be sluggish......

Sorry if I missed it, but you cannot hear any leaks under the hood correct? As far as when you drive the car, even though it doesn't accelerate for crap does it run okay relatively speaking or does it feel like it's misfiring?

Ok, stealer says it's a clogged cat converter, they are overnighting one for me from Lansing... Funny thing is everyone including me thought that a clogged cat would cause the boost to skyrocket. Another thing is I used hear a rattle in the exhaust when I stepped on it and it got louder when I got Stage 2 installed. So I got a less restrictive muffler put on and still the rattle was there. And then it slowly went away. So I'm wondering if something was wrong w/ the cat when I got the car...

if you keep beating on the car, the ecm will take out boost because you're beating the **** out of it, and the intake temps after the blower are boiling bacon.

So are you saying that it was dumping more fuel and that's what clooged the cat ???

Just disconnect the manifold from the downpipe (leave it all hanging, just disconnected), and take it for a quick spin. If it's better then you found your problem. No need to throw $$ at the car if you're not at least a little sure it's the problem.

Update:

Got the car back yesterday afternoon... They replaced the cat and still had "problems", then they found that an A/C line rubbed a wire harness under the fuse block and shorted a wire to ground and it must of been a wire that controlled the BPV. I talked to the Tech who put my STG 2 on and he confirmed the story today...

Sounds like you have a lot of knock, or you blew your piston ringlands. Hope it's knock, because usually you will see oil in your engine compartment when you blow a ringland. Open you hood and look, and cross your fingers.

"Exhaust Rattle" is knock. Let's hope your cat was clogged so that it is an easy fix. Other wise P0300 usually means a blown piston, and I'm not kidding.

But Really Excessive knock could cause your condition as well and it sounds like you have been "Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

LOL I know two people who actually tried that to test it out. Both whacked their DP on the pavement while driving and had to buy new ones anyways.

This was when I first got the car brand new that I had the rattle...I had Stage 2 put on at 12,000 miles and now have over 26,000, so I think maybe I did have a bad cat...
