Z max
Any additive that claims it "soaks" into the engine to provide wear protection is full of crap. Don't put it in your car. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't put any kind of additive into my engine. They have done studies and shown that they do not offer any increased wear protection and can actually cause premature wear.
LOL. I love that song! I tried Zmax and Duralube in my Sunfire. I preferred the Duralube. The engine seemed to run a lot smoother and I got better fuel mileage with it. I would recommend Duralube concentrated oil additive. I have yet to try it in my Balt, but I may get some to put in my next oil change.
I use Z Max in my car, I use it in everything I own and love it!! I know everyone will say Im full of sh@# but I dont care I belive in it. When I was 15 I had a job putting decials on Indy cars and also got to help build one of the cars. When we where putting the engine together they had all the parts of the engine soaking in this fluid, I aked the engine builder what is that? He told me it is Z max they used it in all of there engines to help reduce wear on the internal parts. I started useing Z Max after that in my 85 Chevy El Camino (lol my first car man i loved that car) I ended up blowing the intake gasket out of it like 10 times. When the gasket blew out the last time i said f@#% it and drove it back home 50 miles away with my foot to the floor. The temp gauge was reading 260 for 30 miles and the car never missed a beat, I got home and poped the hood, and found no water in the radatior or catch can!! I was like o well more reasion to put a 350ci in it, it only had the 305ci in it at the time. I procided the next day to tear the motor down and to my amazement it looked like bran new on the inside of the motor nothing and i mean nothing was hurt, and I belive it was all because of the Z Max in it. Call it BS if you want but hey the stuff works!
if that **** worked, it would be in every rotating engine across the world.... now ask yourself, is it?
metal is very porous, of coarse its gonna soak up a petroleum based product... WD-40 would do the same exact **** as in there commercial, you don't see me cutting open a can of WD and dumping it in the engine do you?

If this thing does not work, I am surprised it did succeed by showing improvement on so many SAE tests:

I used it in my LSJ on every oil change. No problems, car ran like a champ. Dont have a LSJ anymore LNF now and I use it still. I preffered it to a friend and he uses it every oil change too along with Royal purple. I change my oil about every 5k - to 7k miles. Doesnt burn a drop of oil.

The only oil additive worth running is sulfur, and you can only run it if you are catless (or like replacing cats).
I switch to Enos oil from Mobile 1, because my sponsor gave me a good price. Damn, I'd pay full price for it if I had to. I dont have to add 2 quarts between oil changes any more.
