450 could be done on the TVS with cams, ported head, and E85. Tim's setup only ran about 12-13psi boost if I remember right.

And remember that was on a relatively large pulley with low boost. Imagine a TVS with the same pulley right around 450. Maybe higher with smaller pulley.

I thought it was a 2.7 pulley with ATI overdrive crank damper.

I stand corrected, 2.7 M62 with ATI dampener. Still, that pulley produces in excess of 23+ psi boost on a ported head, full 3" combo, so with the increased displacement I could see around 5psi higher than the M62. I'd like to see what it can do.

? i must be misunderstanding you because increasing displacement drops boost

when zzp did max power testing im pretty sure he ran a 2.6 and i know he has used a 2.5 at the track and he said he was only seeing between 12 and 15 lbs on the stroker

Guess I didn't word it good

The TVS will produce about 30% more psi on the same size pulley'd M62

M62 3.1" ~ 14psi
TVS 3.1" ~ 19psi

So if the 400whp M62 build had a 2.7" pulley on it and with the increased displacement made 12-13 psi boost, then it's fair to say that you'd see probably 17-18 psi with the TVS on a 2.7"

Not sure how much that equates to in whp, but I'd love to see it.

quit being a vag go buy it and tell us and your making more then 20 on a 2.6

64mm / 2.5" ~ 27.5 psi
70mm / 2.75" ~ 25 psi
75mm / 2.95" ~ 22.5 psi
80mm / 3.15" ~ 20 psi
85mm / 3.35" ~ 17.5 psi
89mm / 3.5" ~15psi

Per Area47, note this is with a higher redline w/ upgrade valvetrain: as a slight correction to the psi reference.
if you spin the motor high enough a 3.1 pulley will make 23psi. a 2.9 will make 25, and a 2.75 will make 26.5. 99% of the tvs owners will not spin their engines to 7900 to see this. i personally have seen 27psi out of the 2.75 ring
