zzp 3" exhaust review.

Awesome. im running zzp long tube header with catless dp and zzps 3" exhaust with resonator and muffler, both magnaflow units. the kit looks excellent and fit well. most of all though its remarkably quiet. im serious, i expected that going from my gmpp exhaust with a 2.5" flange to a full 3" inch exhaust with a straight through muffler that the car would be pull me over loud but thats not the case. car has a very deep tone and roars when you floor it. my thought is the magnaflow resonator is the *****. it used to burble quite a bit when i let off the throttle now theres a mellow rumble when i let off.
Side note the car seems very happy with the extra breathing room. she used to have a bit of vibration at the top of second and third right before the shift, thats completely absent now. its smooth power right to the red line. not sure if she lost any bottom end torque because any attempt at full throttle off the line results in shredded tires. im due back at the dyno for a SMG installed meth kit ill see if i can get a before pull in to see what it was worth in terms of hp/tq.

I just put this exhaust on my car as well but I went with the ZZP in house made chambered muffler. It sounds really good and it isn't raspy or loud even with ZZP catless LT.

My 3" ZZP sounded like ass that had been fed boiled eggs and vinegar, traded it to darkchild and the first thing he says to me is it ain't that bad...

YMMV, Zach likes it.

I thought it was horrid.

What?
If you have a CEL after a header install, you did something wrong.

In all my modding, I've yet to throw any cels related to intake or exhaust.

Well I think my car just hates me. I have P1133. Haven't gotten a tune yet, but replaced the upstream o2 sensor. Came back 2 days later. oh well. I installed the ZZP Lt header with dp. I also have the injen intake, but that was on a couple months before hand.
