Says: (New - 10/17/2008)

Ya it must be new. The only thing i dont like about it is it's a 2 piece. It doesnt say if it is stainless or aluminum.

Which intake do you run? Stainless?

I see you have the RAW one... how is it? How long have you had it?

The RAW intake is damn good. Had to bend my brake lines a bit because I have an 07, but other than that fitment is perfect.

Not sure if it is still available for purchase though...

Heres a pic:

I like the RAW. You just have to make sure that the clamps are as tight as possible since its is a two piece design. RD Fabs has a one piece stainless design.

Its probly alot less expensive because it is two piece.. it makes it a little easier to make, and fit...

nothing wrong with that design.

Yea there is when the lower half falls off and your car wont run and goes into limp mode. Im not the only one that this has happened to. A one piece design is way better and Im speaking from experience. The Injen would be a much better intake if it was made from stainless. Any intake for the ss/sc is going to rub somewhere. Its just the way the car is set up.

question for you tuners... wouldnt upgrading to a larger MAF pipe like with these 3" intakes throw off MAF readings?

Im not a tuning expert by any means, but its just common sense that it would mess with the MAF readings. So a tune would help

does your 3" intake throw cels at all? I'd really rather not have to mess with a cel if I can avoid it

Mine doesn't, and there is zero chance the bottom half will ever fall off as long as you assemble it correctly.

i think my tire actually rubbed against it somehow and thats what caused it to fall off. i must of had it positioned the wrong way or something. idk it was kind of weird. i have since rigged it so it wouldnt happen again and havent had any problems.

no, i knew u could retune if it does throw anything off. My issue is my entire tune is MAF driven, so if I got a 3" intake, and it messed wioth the MAF readings, then I would need to pay for another tune as well
