It depends on the size of the filter.

ZZP uses a larger filter on their intake so I'm going to say no. Search the part number for the K&N filter ZZP uses. K&N should have a hydroshield for it.

K&N does make a drycharger that fits. It's not spifically fitted for that filter but it still fits, I have the PN written down somewhere if I can find it, Ill post it.

K&N Dry Charger PN E-4710DK
Is what I have on my K&N Filter that came with my ZZP Intake.
FYI: K&N Dry Charger = Hydroshield. Just different company, different name.

Would ZZP's intake smooth out the crappy idle I get with my ebay intake that is grinding a hole in itself? They seem to think its all that

There are other issues that can cause crappy idle. It may not be the intake.

Have you ever cleaned your throttle body? If not I advise you to. The oil blow by from the engine's crank case breather tends to "gum" up the trottle body causing rough idle.

What injectors are you running? 60lb injectors are also known to be a cause of rough idle if not tuned perfectly.

Yeah I read the sticky, the throttles pretty clean but ill blast it again today. I have 60s and a custom tune but thats just how I bought it, had nothing to do with the install of either one

Well, 60's are known to have a "rough" idle if not dialed in perfectly. That could be your issue. Also, check your MAF sensor. It may need to be cleaned as well.

I know this is going to sound dumb to ask, I got the injen intake and wanting to go with a different type. Is the ZZP or K&N intake a better intake to go with?
