zzp down pipe disclaimer

*Due to the movement of the engine on WOT shifts in a 5 speed car, 1 or more solid engine/trans mounts will be required. If they are not used, then the flex sections warranty is voided.

A little heated since I just installed a hardly used zzp down pipe... Didn't think it was a big enough problem where zzp has to put a disclaimer about it. Just figured that this would only be a problem with the shitty stock flex pipe. I would think its something that I wouldn't have to worry about with an aftermarket down pipe.

That's what im saying. Its bull **** that i have to spend another 200 bucks in order for there down pipe to be reliable. Even more annoying when there competitor doesn't have a disclaimer about there down pipes. Unless there isn't a flex pipe out there that can withstand the engine movement than I think this is straight up silly.

That is ridiculous man! Sell that piece of **** and go with something better. If your will to spend the money, look into Hahn! I bought their full exhaust and love it. I get lots of compliments too!

I've had my zzp downpipe and I'm sorry to tell u. Yes you need to get the tranny rear solid mount and the ffront solid mount by the radiator. Becuz if u don't by mounts the flex pipe goes by by and I understand why a great company such as zzp would not warranty. The flex pipe......all companys are basically like that but they don't tell u ahead of time so it is not zzp's fault with the flex pipe

why would you want your engine moving that much anyways... one of the first things everyone gets is the mounts because it stops soo many different problems

Because up until now I haven't necessarily needed them. I would like to get them when I get some money. No one wants to hire a college kid for two months in Florida especially while its the off season. Applied everywhere ha. Just don't think mounts should be a necessity if you want a down pipe and don't want to break it.
