zzp header/dp

can anybody point me to a vid or soundclip of an ss/sc running a catless dp? as soon as i sell my paintball gear, i'll have a zzp header/dp combo (catless) ordered. How would a zzp header, catless dp, and gmpp sport catback sound compared to an srt4 with full exhaust? i love backfiring, popping, and cackling...will i have that?

i think anomalous has a video of his setup. the zzp sounds great, i love it with my magnaflow. as far as comparing it to a srt4 you can't compare a supercharged exhaust to a turbocharged exhaust, will never sound the same. it does pop on downshifts though and when you let off the gas.

i figured it wouldn't be as grumbly as the srt4. i'm looking for a deep sound, roars when you jump on it, and cackling/poppin' on downshifts. sounds like i'll be making a good choice. where might anomalous have a vid of his setup?

My ZZP header/dp combo just shipped. i opted to go with the magnaflow cat. my brother is going to do the install for free at school, so that'll be nice...i know he won't mess anything up. I'll make sure to get some vids when i'm done, including idle/drive by's, etc. i'll be running a 1.75 mid tube header with a 2.5" downpipe with magnaflow cat, and a gmpp sport catback...i really can't wait to see how this things sounds!!!

07 ss/sc what set up are you running exhaust wise right now? The individual header and downpipe or the combo that zzp offers? Also are you running gmpp performance exhaust?

This could be his mods 07 ss/sc?

The exhaust is ZZP midlength header, ZZP catless downpipe, GMPP sport Cat-back, and the intake is stock with alittle modification :-)

Yup yup that is correct for the exhaust and intake part. The car also has stage 2 with a 2.9 pulley.

yes sir. 1.75'' primary's on the zzp header, and the stainless 2.5'' dp with high flow cat, teamed up with the GMPP Performance cat back. love the sound. absolutely perfect. BTW on the header get it ceramic coated. anything else IMHO is a waste of money, after an hour the high temp paint burns off and then it will rust over time. my ceramic coating is still on there and it looks great.

BTW: i used zzp's bolts and they are fine, just do not tq the hell out of them.
