OTTP has volume
ZZP has surface area/shape
ideally, someone will make a HE with ZZP's surface area and shape, but thicker to hold the same volume as OTTPs

both. They are both needed, which is why there is no clear superior product. at higher speeds ZZPs becomes increasingly more efficient, whereas the reverse is true for OTTPs, however, OTTPs is more efficient from the get go.

Everyone will have a different preference, and will support their pick with the argument that either their their pick is bigger and therefore better, or that their pick has more surface area and fills the whole bumper space and therefore better

major PITA to get the heater hose off of the stock HE and IC pump. GM decided it would be a good idea to glue to clamps on  that is seriously the hardest part of install, getting those damn clamps off. lol

The bumper doesn't need to be trimmed to fit the ZZP unit.

Mine fits perfectly fine, I just installed it differently then everyone else did.
