I like the look of the ZZP (wider) than OTTP.

Was it hard to install without cutting or removing the bumper?
How about OTTP?

Holes drilled?

no holes need to be drilled. bolts right up. i already had my bumper off for the SC build, so i cant comment on difficulty with bumper on, but with the bumper off, i mounted the HE in about 30 seconds.

I ordered mine from maxredline.com. I dont like the hoses coming into the same side of the H/E b/c the hot coolant is "touching" the cold coolant as it comes back around from the opposite side.

i mean that the coolant itself doesnt touch but the metal that the hot coolant is running through is connect to the metal that the cold is running through

its called a dual pass heat exchanger...allows more time for the coolant to cool down

cooling is a function of surface area, coolant temp, and ambient temp, and airflow. How the coolant is routed inside the HE will have absolutely no effect on the cooling ability of the HE. thats as far as I'm going to go in explaining

actually. youre right and youre wrong. the bold part is right. non bold is wrong. the fact that the coolant is routed to STAY IN THE H/E LONGER THAT A NON-DUAL PASS DESIGN, allows it to be on that surface area, and air flow that you speak of. longer than a normal one

I wanted to say something, but didnt want to start anything. The longer something has inside a h/e or even a i/c the more efficient it becomes. I am not to sure what direction and how it routes in the h/e but that is what normally happens.

With the ZZP, there are 2 big studs on the back of the crashbar that it bolts up to. There is also 2 tabs for holes in the front/bottom of the crash bar and 2 holes in the ZZP HE on the front. I left the 2 holes in the front alone and only used the 2 big studs on the back of the crashbar. This allows the bumper to push the HE back so it can fit fine.
