I have been running a Phenolic spacer since spring. Every LSJ should have one.

My only problem is that they are way too expensive.

Yeah. I noticed a smaller difference between my IAT1s and IAT2s under normal driving conditions and my IAT2s do not rise as fast as they used to. Every degree counts.

If this spacer was $50, I think everyone would be running one. In comparison, $100 is better spent on a dual pass end plate.

But if you already have the dual-pass endplate...

Still, expensive as it may be, still well worth the money.

Dual pass endplates used to be $250, now ZZP has them for less than $100 shipped with no core charge and the quality is higher than it's ever been. Looks like an OEM piece.

the spacer is expensive because we have 2 gaskets, a spacer, bolts, washers and we only sell a few of them. If we made more than 10 at a time we could bring the cost down.

I'll be picking one of these up probably when I go E-85. I'll be putting my header on first, then down to a 2.8. With a Dual pass this thing should help a great deal.

I've heard of this causing issues with the dipstick.

Did you have to bend the dipstick, or did you find any issues with fitment on your install?

Nope just left the dipstick where it was. The dipstick bracket isn't bolted to the IM just left it there because the hole and bolt wasn't lining up. It's not causing any harm or rattling. I could probably do something to get it in but it's not bothering me just leaving it as is

So no issues with using this in combination with a TVS then? The only issue is the dipstick?

I'm running the m62, but another member with a tvs chimed in on the first page saying he had no issues with the IM spacer
