Did you have to bend the dipstick, or did you find any issues with fitment on your install?

The stock is the expensive part on those. Heck I can only find laminated phenolic with cotton in between and that is only rated to the low 200*F, where as pure phenolic is in the high 300*F range. I've found a couple other plastics that should work but one costs 80 bucks just to get a piece big enough make the plate from.

I would say, 45 minutes to take it apart and an hour to get it back together. Or if you've done it a few times I would say under an hour and a half. I can have the blower off so fast now because I have to remove it to change the oil (dont bitch at me, I have a power steering pump right above the oil filter).

You may be able to do it the way GM tells the blown j-bodys to do it. Shove a 1/2" torque wrench in between the head and the bottom of the motor mount and push down on the tensioner arm.

I've heard of this not working and being a complete waste of money.

I don't have one, nor am I looking to purchase one. I just want to learn about it a bit.

That's the way I do it.

I'm thinking about purchasing the belt tension tool from pulley boys. It will make the job a little easier.

Thanks man tried that last night and it worked. Didn't use a torque wrench, used a 1/2" extension that's about a foot and a half long. Gonna try to take a video of it later and post it in the how to section. It's a piece of cake to remove the belt now

Stand in front of the car, align the breaker bar with the belt, and shove her in and push straight down towards the sc pulley. I'll make a video later/tomorrow.

If there is a GB I will buy one. I already need to buy the upgraded shifter bracket and trans fluid from ZZP, I'd like to order everything I need to reduce money spent on shipping for different orders.

Holy moly picture size. Yea that's pretty much how you do it on a lsj. Stick one end in the motor mount, line it up over the pullley tensioner and then push down.

I am ordering the ZZP spacer kit next week along with dual pass. I have no clue what my iat2's are since I can't monitor them(2.4lsc), but those mods should help me out.

Um, you should only be monitoring your iat2's. Thats what important, the iat1 really doesnt tell you as a tuner ****. Your timing and other iat corrections should all be off the iat2, so get that fixed.
