zzp shorty header

Just got this in the mail, along with a new downpipe. Now I never even thought about the exhaust studs on the stock manifold to the downpipe. The zzp header comes with nothing, can I use normal bolts for this? or is there a place I can buy the studs at?

If there are threads in em....buy some studs. They like 3$ a piece. Comes with a nut. If the holes are plain. Use a bolt and nut.

Yeah, the ZZP header is a nice looking piece and I did get it half off so i won't complain to much. But it does not come with anything but the header itself. So I would have the say the badmad header is a better deal when they are both at full price IMO! I went out and got some bolts, washers, nuts and some high temp thread locker. So it should work out.

You can reuse the stock studs and bolts for the zzp header. They should be the same thread.

Does not hurt to have extra bolts and studs handy though!

Ok. I'll clear it up. If ur lucky like me, and never have rusty bolts due to not driving in the winter, you can reuse your stock exhaust manifold studs and bolts.

If you find the bolts are rusted or beat up, replace them with the correct bolts/studs. These can be purchased through CED.

My factory ones were rusted, and took the stud out of the head. I could have used them again maybe but I went and bought new ones at the dealer. Which were cheaper then anything I could find online.
