Clamp the 2 hoses shut that go to the pump, unplug the harness, take the 2 bolts out, rewrap the rubber piece around the new pump and bolt back in, put hoses back on pump, unclamp, plug in harness

Do the stock spring clamps hold well without leaks once you break the glue seal or do most people go to a standard hose clamp when they re assemble?

You can use your stock clamps but they are a pia to remove. That would be the hardest part of the install...those Damn clamps..lol

Yeah I had to take one off last week to do the HE install, it definitely was a PITA hopefully the one on top of the hose is easier to get off.

Just got off the phone with my dealership quote for just the part was $640 bucks. WOW I am never going to even bother trying to get a part from them again.

update, got my new pump today and put it in the car. Highest IAT2 I've seen during WOT is about 135F, and when cruising my IAT2 quickly drops to 100F or even below. I think there is still a little air in the system so that may still improve a bit. Car is running amazing right now. I think i may disconnect the battery so that the car "re learns" as I'm sure it's been pulling timing with the sky high IAT's I've had for who knows how long!

Just do some highway driving, that should get you back to where you need to be. It helped me after I got my S3 kit, but I have high IAT2's lol.
