Zzp stage 3 keeps throwing codes

So I just recently installed zzp's stage 3, I have the 60#injectors aem intake, dualpass end plate slp exhaust, 2.9 pulley. She started to throw the p0171 code so I pulled everthing apart checked vac lines, gaskets and injectors for proper fit and all that checks out good, but I keep throwing the code, it'll clear itself when I'm driving on the freeway but in stop and go it comes on. Could I have a problem with the tune? I don't have anyway to log anything but I know a guy that can hook me up with a tune. I'm at a loss here guys any help is greatly appreciated.

Fuel trims are lean. You need a custom tune.

You need a custom tune but anything can cause the p0171.. Vacuum leak to a leak to the 02 sensor can cause this along with a bad ic pump.... Hotter air will skew fuwl trims alot

So after reading around it is really looking like a tune is in order, how bad would it be on her by producing boost?

Well its running lean now, as the code says, so it could possibly be lean up top too. I wouldnt push your luck lean is no good.

in all technicallities it is rich inside the cylinder, but the code from the ECU is for lean, the ecu adds more fuel to the cylinder trying to compensate for the lean reading from the sensors, been reading around on it. the strangest thing is its only throwing it at low rpms, and city driving, on the freeway it clears itself and runs like a scalded dog..

if its throwing the code at low rpm, specifically under decel conditions, its likely a vacuum leak somewhere. did you just look at everything, or did you check it with a gas (propane tourch, butane, accetalene, etc)? thats the proper way to check for vacuum leaks.

The best way to find out if your actually lean is to get a wideband. Anything else is a shot in the dark...

well i did a controlled smoke test, held a hose blowing smoke by all the lines, manifold to head, and the blower to manifold, looking for any distortion in the smoke, none observed, then i just said **** pulled everthing apart, and reassembled with proper torque specs, @ REDi Im looking into getting a interceptor wide band
