If I were to trade my car in for something faster 1. It wouldn't be another Cobalt and 2. It would be RWD.

OP you should go with a full exhaust, intake, and 2.4 mani for start. You could sub out one of the other things for some springs if you don't like the stock ride height.

not totally true. ive spent 1600 total, ALL parts and tune included. and im happy, a few hundred more he could go supercharged if he knows where to find the deals.

Could someone explain the purpose of velocity stacks? I'm not questioning the build or anything, I'm curious as to what this would improve.

In the description on the website, it says that the throttle body and intake tubing have to be moved. Are there any pics out there with this setup installed?

Thanks.

velocity stacks are basically just a tapered entrance to the individual ports as apposed to the tubing mating up to the collector and having a weld on the inside that form a small radius around the entrance. They are more desired for tuning a N/A vehicle seeing it makes the airflow much smoother into the runners. As for the installed pictures i have a few out there right now but am waiting on pictures from the customers. The throttle body is moved to the driver side of the engine... similar to where it is placed on the supercharger.
