Now i know that the 07 2.2l has cam position sensors on the cams, can the comp cams have the sensor pressed on by a shop? and has anyone done this? or does the sensor have to be tuned out?

any reputible machine shop should be able to press on the sensor. one guy here did it i dont remember his user name.

ive had it done, i got it on my comp cams turbo cams
i have a thread already on this

 

i tried searching but cam is said in about every thread on this site...

thats what i'm looking to do, if i'm gonna TC or SC my balt i'm gonna do it right and throw better cams in (along with exhaust, p&p, pistons, valves, springs)
