why r people just ordering the tune without knowing what it does? dont jump on the band wagon if you dont know what it is going to do to your car.

this will probably void the warrenty cause it messes with the computer, engine, and tranny. however, you can always throw in the stock tune and noone will know. but if you drive safe, you wont have to worry.
LOOK BOTH WAYS!!!

theres a whole list of what this does. its also soppose to act like the bm shift plus too. just hope it doesnt shift that hard because my wife doesnt like that at all.

speed limiter remove, govener remove, rev limitier remove, pe delay etc.

the turbo tune hasn't been done yet..but that will come soon enough...i will let you know what happens with that..other than that...the tune has been proven time and time again....

and it's official, i'm just waiting on some money for startup cost and i'll be a distributor on the East Coast for Trifecta Tunes...so those of you who are interested and that are close enough can come directly to me for the tune with no GT Tuner and if you want, i can throw the car on the dyno so you have how much power you gained from the tunes.

Is this just going to remove the governer, pe delay, and rev limiter? Or does it actually tune the cars fuel and crap.

Okay...this is what the tune does...the basic tune

The tunes removes the speed cap
ups the rev limiter from 6500 to 7000
changes/removes the PE Delay
adjust afr ratios to better economy and power
accommodates for higher octane fuel
If nitrous is added, can adjust for that as well

now the custom tunes can do all that plus:

accommodate for increased air flow (f/i, larger intake)
accommodate for larger injectors
retard timing for fuel curves and air flow
adjust for different cam timing and grinds

so with that being said...enjoy! you can get more specific and more information from Vince at Trifecta.

i covered that...it's under the custom tuning services. but that is on a case by case basis and requires live support or somebody to front up the money for a kit that can be tuned and then donated to be beta tested to put down numbers, etc. for tuning. As soon as that is done, then we can tune on that kit and adjust for other mods. So it's coming.

oh, i understand. i was just answering the posted inquiry. i doubt there is any power to be gained from injectors when our stockers aren't anywhere near being max'd out with full bolt-ons and a tune.

yeah don't sweat it and even when you spray the extra full bypasses the inj and comes straight from the rail. fyi i don't lose fuel pressure while spraying unless the car is low on full and when spraying that's just all around bad anyway.

Ya I talked to vince about an hour and a half ago and the stock injectors will be perfectly fine, I am able to run any type of grade gasoline...I am going to bump up to 91, the tune will not hurt with running 87, just the tune will allow you to run higher octane levels. I have full bolt ons and the 2.4L intake kit will be coming over winter. There is really no need for the 2.4L throttle body he said just if you want smooth out the 2.2L throttle body for better flow. hahaha headers, downpipe, cai, exhaust etc like that will not effect the outcome of the tune. if you have a highflow cat or will be geting one make sure vince knows. that is pretty much everything he told me. FacelessKhaos pretty much i mean exactly summed everything up : ) I am pumped he said should be here saturday !!!!

Cam tuning can be done, but you need to hook up with vince and talk to him and dyno at the same time to get it right, then with a little feedback from driving he should be able to tweak it to a decent level.

Try difinite far, far, far future. No cam upgrades for 07-up. Stupid time position sensor.

yes you connect the PDA to the port, hit a couple buttons on the screen, wait a minute for it to upload and you are done.

Hell my chimpanzee could do it, if I had one.
