What they mean by won't work on 05-07 is that you can't use it to swap an 8pin 2.4 TB onto your 6pin 07+ harness. 05-06 and maybe 07 used 8pin harnesses on stock 2.2 and 2.4 throttle bodies. 08 and up used 6pin throttle bodies. Not sure what you are running since you are 2007.

so I got my ssp s1 axles today, but I realized I might have made a mistake...
I was reading that only the ss models have jack shafts, and equal length axles, while the base models have one short and one long axle. is this correct?
I'm pretty sure that my car has a jackshaft, but I m starting to second guess my memory. Is it possible that the newer 2.2's transitioned to equal length axles? I didnt consider this until I open the box and saw a mega long axle.
I'm at work and its bugging the **** out of me now haha. I cant wait to go home and look

map+ pigtail as long as possible
throttle body pigtail, also as long as possible
and the connector that snaps the brake booster to the lug on the blower
the brake booster clip isnt necessary, but If I can get one for cheap I would rather have it than push a hose onto the nipple for aesthetics lol

Got the block all stripped down and ready for the machine shop today.
Got a bunch more gaskets and bolts today, a timing set, axles, coil packs, and a dipstick tube today. Added the parts to the pile. Still have the axles, the lsjion head, a full 6 rib swap, ic pump, misc gaskets, radiator hoses, etc. in the garage.
They said the block/head I got only had 1600 miles. I don't think they were lying...

I have no idea. I hadn't heard that. Is that for the 05-06 computer, or ours? I wanna say ours is a e37 or something 37 haha don't quote me on that.
The only thing I heard is that our factory sensors won't read boost. I'm pretty sure the 2.4 will read higher boost, and they use the same computer. I would have to double check, but there was a guy that swapped a 2.4 into his 2.2, and all he had to do was add a few pins to the harness for the extra sensors, and flash the ecu to a 2.4 tune and he was good to go. I have to see what years he used
But I don't know why it wouldn't read boost, isn't it just a matter of scaling the voltage input to the map range?
