You're comparing an AWD car to a FWD car. Both awesome cars in their own right.

And why did it turn into which one is the better car?

I guess because I have researched so much like you should that the mods are pointless for my car with the direction that I was thinking of going. Oh and I like Evos ;-)

mitsubishis r terrible cars. u spend more money fixing em then u do in putting into them mods wise. id rather have a reliable ss/tc then a evo X..

plus if ur goin for all wheel drive, an sti/wrx is better then evo x and around same price if not cheaper

As far as reliable goes I have had my car 5 months ands its been in the shop 4 times so reliable does not go with my car. Broken wiper motor, key stuck in ignition, Transmission slipping all within 4 weeks of getting it.

As far as reliable this car has been the worse I have had but I love the car still, the look, the comfort and the mpg is nice as well as the sporty look.

then the previous owner must have really done a number on it. ive never heard of as many problems with balts as ive heard about mitsubishis. plus u think the repair cost is alot for chevy balts, wait till u gta fix up the mitsubishi a import, and order special parts to fix it from overseas...

Im really thinking the previous owners took the start and go method with no maintenace until it was falling apart. However I have done a great deal of work to bring the beuty and performance back to the car, when I got it it only had one speaker in the front and the paint had major swirl marks. I wax it twice a month and wash it once a week, so Im trying lol. As far as evo maintenance I have no clue I have never had one, just driven one and it was amazing handling and power.

Research? Um.....I've researched for almost four years bud. Why do you think my car is stock? I couldn't make the power I want unless I go forced induction. Which is pretty pricey. And I like Evos too btw

And it will decimate all after you put about 15 grand in it. And overnight parts from Japan.
