Still can't tune the computer, might make the engine run like crap. Also think that it will not fit, don't think that the position sensor was added to the 2.2 until 2007, the 2.0 SC has always had the extra sensor to my knowledge.

ok thanks. going to save up and get the JBP stage3 anyway. Just wondered about a possible power increase. Timing changes for the 2.2 to the 2.0 really don't mean much to me. Oh well.

I don't think the cams themselves are the same...I know that 2.2 cams won't work in the 2.0 so I'm assuming it would be the same the other way around.

The big question is, will they physically fit. According to GM they will, but looking at the head itself, it will probably need a different type of gasket/seal. Comp cams look like LSJ cams and they've stated multiple times the same cam fits both engines. Part numbers are identical and everything. I dunno.

especially when they are cams for a forced induction motor. BAD IDEA.

thats true I never thought of that either, don't know how cams made for a boosted vehicle would perform in an N/A car...

that's why I'm saving for JBP Stage3.. they are ECM friendly (no tuning required) and make 19-23 horses.

yea, you are better off getting a cam made for your motor. The lsj cam may actually rob some power from you. It is made specifically for forced induction and it is fairly mild at that...
