I doubt it, weight wise he is probably better than me since I am an auto and my trans weighs nearly twice that of a 5spd. Also I only have a catback, I think he has more boltons.
We will be meeting up with Vince next week sometime i think. Im hoping he cracked the code for the auto
i have no clue what he's going to be working on with my car, im just gonna let him do his thing lol. hopefully i can get increased fuel economy though, my gas milage sucks! i have a feeling that when we meet up with Vince at the dyno my car will be looked at too....Tom knows all the ins and outs though.

I'm just waiting for the day when we see good, reliable tuning for the 2.2L so that we can tune for our common bolt-on's and also things such as cams and headwork. I've really stopped modding my car, b/c I want the tuning avaible b/f I go any further.
i personally use the rule of thumb, 10hp or 100lbs per tenth of a second.
a jump from your 16.5 to his 15.4 is a difference of 1.1 seconds. the one way which i don't think is the case is that yours weighs 1100 more lbs than him, that wouldn't make sense to me, but a combo between gear ratios and weight would.
mid-high 15's with manuals are very possible.

That seems to be the convention, but its not really a linear relationship. Slow cars like ours can drop the ET's significantlyand gain decent trap speed with just bolt ons. Whereas if a 9 second car added 20 whp, it wouldn't cut a second off of its ET and the trap wouldn't be too different. Wind resistance is quite different at 150 mph as opposed to >90. lol

Going good, just trying to get at some dyno time to dyno tune everything. I drove the car for 700 miles this weekend, took it to the west canada meet and drove through the mountains and all...it was amazing. owned a late model (not the new model though) eclipse and a lexus (not sure on model) but it was a smaller 4 door - newer
had some good times and tested some speeds
got her up to 122 before i needed to start slowing for the corner haha, need some new breaks. GF got it on vid, just need to upload it for you all.

Please get better tires before going 122 again, otherwise, your tuning my be cut short by a blow out and multiple flips resulting in your death... The stock tires are only rated to 125 I believe.... but I wouldn't be dumb enough to test it out. Get better tires. Please. I wanna know how the tuning turns out, not how your body turns out.
