2.4 Mani swap DONE!!

No adapter plate, No CELS and so far after 30 miles its looking like a 1-2 mpg gain and the pull is much better, took it to 100 and was very smooth compared to before.

Not a bad mod at all considering I got out with Only spending $120 for eveything ad took two hours since I was scared of breaking **** to remove the stock mani.

Thanks Big Rob

Used the gaskets that came with the mani from a member just cleaned them up and I just extended the stock booster hose like 7 or 8 inches max. I still have some mock ups to do but it started raing like hell while I was putting the TB back on then bye the time it stopped it was dark.

Look at the back of your throttle body. Does it look like this? Then you need an adapter plate.

Does it look like this? Then you can just bolt the **** on and go.

Cool man. Just giving breds2k some advice. I woulda posted them in your thread yesterday but only had my phone and can't copy/paste links. Hope you enjoy it. I'll be right there with you Tuesday except I have an intake system, header, and catted downpipe too.

OH! Any trouble getting the map sensor in?

it was a little awkward at first but everything was smooth except for the damn rain messing with me. I have an intake system also and the exhaust is non stock but not catback lol.
The sound became much more aggressive and sporty,

Just finished mine. (One piece manifold.) Only took 45 minutes, but I didn't give a damn what I broke taking the old one out. Only problem is somehow the EVAP port broke off the 2.4L manifold so I have to wait #%#$%#$%# 12-24 hours for it to dry before I can drive it. EFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!
