2006 Ecu Help

According to popular quotes, there is a newer smarter ecu for 06. I guess the pulse width cannot be changed or else the ecu shuts down. I want to add fuel so i can boost. someone help. I also noticed after my intake was installed the car ran like a raped date, then the car de tuned itself. Someone help.

LMFAO, like a raped date?

think there's a chance that you might just be used to the intake now it just seems like its 'de-tuned'? if you are sure, check your filter on your intake and maybe take it off and give it a little shake. theres no tuning software out yet but last time i sent my round of emails, hptuners was on the way.

The newer eco's, that doesn't work. You can't just raise the fuel pressure and boost it like many other cars. Go out and buy a megasquirt. It's a total standalone for like 250 if you're any good at wiring. Or you can wait for hptuners to come out with their software. I can't wait for it. It'll be awesome.

Do you even know what your talking about ? Pulse width ? I assume your talking about pulse width modulation(pwm), but thats usually only used in the automatic tranny's to cover up the apply of the torque converter clutch. There are a few other use's for it, i think the injectors use pwm, but throwing in a set of bigger/better injectors or adding fuel in no way would change pwm.
