Anyone make aftermarket transmission parts for the 2.2?

 

b and m shift plus

 

Technically the b&m shift plus is made for old f bodies and vettes. True it works on our transmission but its really crap in comparison to a real transmission tune.

Also is good to add a transmission cooler as well if you are going to be driving very hard or "spirited"

 

well yes but it works and its cheap. and the big plus is you can turn it on and off when you need it!(only stage 1)

where and how do you tune a trans.?????

 

Coming from my experience with 5 years of ownership. I bought a shiftplus because it was cheap at the time but after it threw CELs for transmission pressure and whatnot I uninstalled it. After I got my real tune from trifecta they tuned not only my transmission for shift points and trans pressure but they did my ecu that is custom to my modifications.

Do yourself a favor they other mods out of the way first ie intake exhaust etc. Then get a tune to support said mods and do some work with the trans trust me

 

We are the only company (that I know of) that offers a solid upper engine mount and tranny bushings for the auto tranny cobalt. Many purchase this setup.

 

I got a Shift + and stage 2 just went out, stage 1 and oem still works... I are sad..

 

like mentioned above get a real trans tune

Where do u get a good tranny cooler for da 2.2?
