Cat back installation?!?!

I just got my cat back exhaust, and I tried to install it, but the bolts off the CAT were too damn rusted, actually they were frozen on. Has anyone else had this problem and anyone have some suggestions for taking them off. I did it by hand plus I couldnt get them off with air tools. Thanks guys

Spray them down with WD-40 and let is sit for 20 minutes, that should loosen them up!

PB blaster works magic in these situations. I've been able to get bolts off of morings that have been in the water for years because of this stuff. You should be able to find it at any autozone or advance auto too!

whatever you do dont try to cut them...if that goes wrong you might end up having to retap the screw(drill it out) which is a bitch..just use the wd-40..itl work fine..

It is better to break the bolt off in the hole then it is to cut it off. Get a large breaker bar and torque the nut until it loosens or breaks off. With exhaust bolts, if they break, they just slide out of the holes, and you can get new ones. If you cut stuff, you damage the actual exaust components.

PB Blaster should work just fine, all the techs around here use it. WD-40 should work as well.
