cavi/balt 2.2 differences???

cavi/balt 2.2 differences???

anyone know if the cavalier 2.2 is exactly the same as the balts 2.2??? or at least if the cavy supercharger kit will work properly on a cobalt...its relatively cheap at gmpartsdirect.com...sorta. if it is the same, why dont i hear more ppl using cavy a.k.a. cheaper, parts on their cobalts..??? anyone?

balt has loads more fly by wire crap...throttlebody for one is by wire, unlike the cavis who had cable, ecm is diffrent...umm...**** this...SEARCH!!!!

This is what I have found on the net for the differences from the older 03-05 and the newer 07-08 Ecotec 2.2 liter motors.

The L61 (2.2 Liter) Ecotec has been upgraded for 2007. Changes came from racing experience, upgrades from other families (2.4 Liter and 2.0 Turbo), etc.
