custom intake manifold

before i begin i would like to let anyone looking at this thread know that Ive been doing custom metal work for about 5 years, i have all the equipment necessary to build it but the reason I'm posting this is because Ive never built an intake for a car before.

I've drawn out a couple designs for it but i need some extra advice on what would be the; most effective shape/style, if it should be aluminum or steel etc. id like to have it planned out and ready to be built by the beginning of spring if possible.
it could also be used for a turbo setup later on so any help would be awesome

thanks

Throw some of your designs on here so we can take a look at them.

Obviously the design will depend on where you want the powerband to be.

I think the stock LSJ IM is perfectly fine for the M62. But there are other out there who think there are huge gains to be made with a different one...

If you read through those threads you will get a lot of different opinions.

The only thing I would change if possible would be to add another Laminova core to the IM. But getting that to work in the available space is going to be a huge challenge.

Buddy, this is a 2.2 thread. Not a LSJ thread. What is the point of those links and your comments?
